There is a report today that hundreds of republican staffers will face unemployment due to the Democratic sweep in Tuesdays election. They don't need to worry, after all the unemployment rate is about 5% and the economy is cooking right. Here are some suggestions for the republicans looking for work in the coming weeks, Walmart is expecting a big holiday season. They only start at minimum wage but hey you guys didn't want to raise it so I guess it's good enough for you. You will want to let them know that you are available 24/7 though. After the holidays with the usual downturn in sales you'll probably be looking again so let me suggest the large home supply centers they get busy in the spring when people want to spruce up the house a little. My friend Nancy is telling me that these people can't wait that long to start getting a paycheck, so here's one last idea, get down to the local recruiting center and join the military. Better get there quick though I hear they aren't going to hiring much longer.
