It's Up To The Democrats Now, Show You Deserve It

Yesterday the nation rejected the Bush agenda of never ending war and even more rejected the corrupt policies that favor big business and are strangling the middle class. There is evidence today that the republicans have not learned from their stunning losses. On CNN this morning indicted corrupt republican politician Tom Delay was sticking to the talking points that outline their failed policies. It seems clear from yesterdays results that Americans want change, the election is said to be a referendum on Iraq. I think it was a referendum on the entire republican platform. Americans clearly do not want religion and politics entwined, the Iraq war has to be resolved, domestic spying without a warrant must end, above all else there must be limits to presidential power.
The American people sent a message to both parties, it's up to us now to show that the Democratic party is the party of the future.
